Dear Maria and all around you,
undisturbed by human stupidity, there are all sort of things blooming and sticking their noses out of the earth in the park across the street, daffodils, tulips, forsythia,and in our living room Yellow roses and a huge Amarillis stalk with 4 huge red flowers. Ha! that criminally stupid individual in our White House couldn't interfere with everything.
On the other hand, life has become a little more confined--we can still take walks in our park, shopping is a little more difficult--BUT (when my computer works, not too often) we can keep in touch with friends and relatives. We both have had some flu symptoms, but I don't think we have been crowned by the Corona virus.
Whether we can make a trip to Europe is unclear at the moment but, in principle, why not? Facts do not invariably follow good principles.
